Meet the Team
The Human Resources department at Millennium covers the full spectrum of HR disciplines. Through high-touch, impactful solutions, the team helps optimize organizational performance and foster a strong working environment and culture that attracts, engages and retains top talent. The Compensation Operations Associate at Millennium will assist in the development and implementation of our compensation philosophy, policies, and practices around the world, supporting our best efforts to attract and retain the best talent available. This function requires liaising with other departments such as Finance, Legal, and Tax and will also involve providing support to other HR functions. A successful candidate will have a strong interest in compensation/analytics within Human Resources. They will be hired to support the Compensation, Benefits & HR Services team in a variety of areas; particularly focused on the year-end compensation process administration.
What You'll Do
  • Support the global year-end compensation process, including system preparation, testing, training, communications, and analytical reporting
  • Assist with compensation planning activities, including cost modeling, budget-to-compensation comparisons, and preparation of reports and analysis
  • Review and reconcile compensation data to ensure accuracy and completeness across HR systems
  • Support compensation system configuration and administration, including user acceptance testing, data audits, and end-user support
  • Administer the global deferred compensation program, including grants, balance tracking, forfeitures, distributions, and statements
  • Serve as a resource for employees on compensation-related matters, providing clear and timely support
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across HR and other functions to support compensation operations and related processes
  • Contribute to special projects and broader team initiatives as needed

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related HR discipline
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a compensation function preferred
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, countifs/sumifs, complex formulas, and charting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages effectively to different audiences
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience with Workday HRIS is a plus
  • Experience using AI tools is a plus

Salary Range
Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York City and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
