About Us:
Compassion Behavioral Health (CBH) is a Joint Commission-accredited treatment facility providing high-quality, individualized care for adults in our Detox/IIP/Residential Treatment Center. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to supporting clients through evidence-based practices, compassionate care, and a safe therapeutic environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate LPN or RN to join our overnight nursing team. This role is responsible for providing direct client care, monitoring medical needs, administering medications, and collaborating with our clinical team to ensure clients receive the highest quality of care.
Schedule:
7pm to 7am - alternating schedule that includes 2 weekend days a month
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to clients in accordance with facility policies, DCF, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Conduct nursing assessments, monitor vital signs, and document client progress.
  • Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication records.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers on client treatment plans.
  • Educate clients about medications, health concerns, and recovery support.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and a therapeutic environment within the RTC setting.

Qualifications:
  • Current Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience in detox and mental health required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts with consistency and reliability.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
