• Establish a positive and trusting rapport with clients to create a safe space for open communication.
• Diagnose a variety of mental health disorders, utilizing assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, circumstances, and therapeutic goals.
• Conduct regular counseling sessions, both one-on-one and with couples or families, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.
• Monitor and assess patient progress on a continual basis, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on feedback and outcomes.
• Referral coordination for additional services, including collaboration with other healthcare professionals and specialist providers.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to guide interventions, particularly for substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed of the latest research and treatment methodologies.

The LMFT will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and various mental health disorders. The client population includes adults, adolescents, and families seeking support for complex emotional and psychological challenges. A significant focus exists on providing culturally competent care that respects the backgrounds and experiences of all patients.

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is desirable.
• Strong grounding in evidence-based practices, particularly those addressing substance use and mental health co-morbidities.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
• A commitment to teamwork and an ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.

• Experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to individuals and groups.
• Previous work history with clients facing substance use issues or other complex mental health challenges.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and the relevant tools needed to conduct sessions effectively in a digital environment.
• Proven success in developing treatment strategies that lead to measurable improvement in patient outcomes.

Compass Professional Health Care offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including:
