Location: Hoffman Estates - Onsite 4x a week and 1 day remote.

Position Summary

Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify a Manager, Talent Acquisition who will lead and execute a scalable recruitment strategy to support organizational growth across technical, field, professional, and leadership positions.

This role is responsible for driving talent acquisition initiatives, building strong partnerships with business leaders, enhancing the employer brand, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on recruiting leadership and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Team Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with workforce planning and business objectives.
  • Partner with leadership to anticipate hiring needs and create proactive recruiting plans and talent pipelines.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a recruiting team, establishing performance expectations and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Manage recruiting budgets and resources to maximize efficiency and hiring outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to leadership regarding hiring trends, workforce needs, and recruiting performance.

Recruitment Management

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment efforts across a variety of functions, including technical, operational, professional, and leadership roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Support complex or hard-to-fill searches as needed.
  • Drive hiring processes that balance speed, quality, and candidate engagement.

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Leverage networking, referrals, passive candidate outreach, industry partnerships, and other recruiting channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen diversity and inclusion within recruiting efforts.

Recruitment Operations, Technology & Analytics

  • Evaluate and enhance recruiting processes, workflows, and best practices to support organizational growth.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies to improve efficiency and visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate experience, and quality of hire.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations to improve recruiting performance and operational effectiveness.

Employer Branding & Community Engagement

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen employer branding initiatives.
  • Support career site content, recruitment marketing campaigns, and talent attraction strategies.
  • Develop relationships with external recruiting partners, educational institutions, trade organizations, and professional associations.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, career fairs, and industry functions as appropriate.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Maintain recruiting documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Stay informed on labor market trends, talent acquisition innovations, and industry best practices.
  • Promote fair, consistent, and compliant hiring practices across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership or team management responsibilities.
  • Experience developing and executing recruiting strategies in a high-growth or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing methodologies, and talent market trends.
  • Experience managing recruiting metrics, workforce planning initiatives, and talent acquisition reporting.
