Job Description

Compass Counseling Services is a family-focused counseling agency providing excellent clinical services to the youth and families of the Shenandoah Valley and the surrounding areas. Compass is constantly growing and seeking staff who will actively support that growth and professionalism. Compass is currently seeking professionals who have counseling experience with at-risk youth, and who are currently seeking licensure. Qualifications

-Providing intensive in-home and outpatient services to at-risk children ages 6-18

-Participation in group and individual supervision

-Providing case consultation and conceptualization

Additional Information

Requirements

Good communication skills, both oral and written.

-Knowledge of CPR and first aid, (Certification preferred)

-Knowledge of medical and psychological terminology.

-Must have: -Valid driver's license

-Afternoon/evening availability

-Education: -QMHP-C (Qualified Mental Health Professional-Child)

-Master's Degree in the human services field from an accredited college or university

-Eligible to register as a Resident in Counseling through Virginia Board of Licensure
