Location: School-Based Program Site - World Compass Academy, Castle Rock



Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership


Schedule: Monday-Friday: 3:30PM-6:00PM


We are looking for candidates who are available to work all five days a week for the full shift. We cannot accommodate partial shifts.


Pay: $20-24/hour, Based on experience and region


Position Overview

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive. This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.


Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement & Support

  • Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
  • Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
  • Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

Program Delivery

  • Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
  • Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
  • Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
  • Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.

Program Operations

  • Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
  • Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
  • Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

State Requirements:

Candidates must be 18 years old and meet one of the following:

  • 3 months (455 hours) of verifiable formal work experience with kids over 4 years old
  • Early Childhood Professional Credential of a Level 1 or higher

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
