Job description

Gustave A. Larson is a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC, and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts, and supplies.  The Larson Class A Truck Driver ensures excellent customer services is provided by distributing our products to our branch locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Paid hourly, with overtime after 40 hours. Road expenses reimbursed.
  2. Transport and deliver parts and equipment from our distribution center to our branch locations. 
  3. Operate various different lifting equipment to include: forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks. 
  4. Safely load and unload trucks and trailers strategically to maximize space and prevent product damage. 
  5. Most rig run shifts are 2pm – 4am, 4 days a week. 
  6. Periods of loading, unloading, picking, and stocking in the Distribution Center only as needed. 

Qualifications Requirements: 

  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Requires the ability to work independently to execute the job duties with minimal supervision.
  • Detail, and goal oriented.  Excels in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Intermittent periods of physical exertion are required (i.e. walking, standing, and stooping). 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

 Education/Experience

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement
  • 2 years of experience in warehousing is preferred
  • Forklift Certified Preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Meet company MVR standards
