Bristol Hospice Houston is seeking caring companion volunteers to visit patient and provide comfort, support, and friendship during their end-of-life journey.

Volunteers spend time talking, reading, listening to music, playing games, or simply sitting quietly with patients. Your presence offers comfort and dignity when it's needed most.

No medical experience is required - just a caring heart!

Flexible schedule and full volunteer training is provided.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must complete all hospice volunteer onboarding, screenings, and training prior to starting volunteer activities
  • Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills
