Job description

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. The Home Support Worker will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, and provide companionship and support to ensure that our clients are comfortable and safe.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
  • Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities such as reading, conversation, and light exercise
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Assist with errands and transportation to appointments, as needed
  • Report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate staff member
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Various schedules (Day, Overnight, Live in)
    • Various rates
    • Various assignments and client demographics

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a home support worker or in a similar role is preferred
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility, as needed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
