What you'll do:
  • Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients.
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks.
  • Escort clients to appointments, social activities, and errands as needed.
  • Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to the care team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Assist with administrative tasks when caregiver work is light, including scheduling and data entry.
  • Participate in training and professional development sessions as needed.
Are You the Right Fit?
  • Must be able to work with Homewatch CareGivers of Monroe Township - Old Bridge, NJ clients in Sayreville, Old Bridge, Monroe Township and surrounding areas.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus but not require
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successfully Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check and Drug Test
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • NJ Residence
  • NJ Driver's License
  • Your own personal vehicle and valid car insurance
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients and families
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a desire to help others
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic technology for communication
Note: Live-In caregivers are not required to have a driver's license or a car. We can provide transportation directly from your home to your cases.
