Job description

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Sales Manager to support and grow our presence within the aerospace, defense, and military procurement sectors. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development of long-term customer relationships and identifying and securing new program opportunities.
The ideal candidate brings experience working with defense system companies, aerospace engineering organizations, or military procurement programs, and understands how to align technical solutions with customers. This is a great opportunity for professionals with aerospace, defense, or military procurement experience looking to transition into sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by maintaining and developing the existing customers relationship
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's new customer base and ensures its strong presence in the market (defense system companies, aerospace engineering organizations, or military procurement programs)
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status, and expand new product markets.
  • Finish other tasks assigned by the upper management.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field - equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience, with demonstrated success in aerospace, defense, or military procurement environments.
  • Prior experience working with defense system companies, aerospace manufacturers, or government/military customers strongly preferred.
  • Engineering background or technical sales experience within the aerospace or defense industries is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to develop new customer relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office; ERP or Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Travel - Domestic traveling approx 30%
