Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Windows, VMware systems and Citrix, including advanced skills in kickstarting, applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and bash scripting. This role involves managing, optimizing, and securing our Windows, VMware and Citrix infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability.

Essential Functions:

  • Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Desktop, Citrix Workspace systems, and Citrix NetScaler systems.
  • Experience in software installation and ability to troubleshoot application compatibility.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience with Virtualization (KVM/VMware) and backup technologies such as Commvault, NAS, SAN, SAS, iSCSI.
  • Ability to automate repetitive and/or complicated tasks using bash.
  • Collaborative efforts with ISSOs to support audits, maintain STIG compliance, conduct risk assessments, and remediate Nessus/STIG scan findings.
  • Responsible for implementing security patches, conducting system scans, remediate findings, and participating in audits to ensure system integrity.
  • Committed to supporting critical operations during standard business hours and providing flexible support as needed outside standard hours.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • 4+ years of Microsoft Windows, Citrix and Vmware systems administration experience.
  • Current/active TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows, VMware and Citrix.         
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking protocols, PowerShell, and security best practices.    
  • Ability within 6 months of hire to achieve Security +        
  • Current/active TS/SCI security clearance. Must be willing to submit to a CI Polygraph, if required.
  • Four (4) years of experience supporting Windows Server, VMware Vsphere and VCenter, and Citrix Workspaces and Netscaler.
  • Experience with VMware or similar virtualization software.
  • Experience with Commvault or similar backup system software.
  • Experience managing systems under the NIST Risk Management Framework.
  • Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Group Policys.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $106,500-$197,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $92,500-$171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
