• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify and understand the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group counseling, utilizing established therapeutic methodologies to address the unique challenges faced by your clients.
• Develop individualized service plans with specific goals, objectives, and timelines tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families.
• Advocate for client rights and access to essential resources, ensuring that marginalized populations receive necessary support.
• Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and social services to create a comprehensive network of care for clients.
• Engage in program evaluation and contribute to grant writing efforts to secure funding for ongoing initiatives.

• Participate in regular team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating on strategies to enhance program effectiveness.

You will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families within a school setting. By addressing the psychological and emotional challenges that students face, you will contribute to their overall academic success and social development. Your role will involve not only direct engagement with clients but also collaboration with school staff and families to build supportive environments for youth.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required, reflecting a strong academic foundation in social work principles.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for this position.
• Proven skills in providing individual and group therapy, with practical knowledge of trauma-informed practices.
• Exceptional communication and organization skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• A deep understanding of social justice issues and advocacy tools to promote equity within community settings.

• Experience working within a nonprofit organization, particularly in educational or community health settings, is highly desirable.
