What is a community school director?

Community School Directors are educational leaders who coordinate and oversee the implementation of the community school model within a school. They work to connect students and families with resources such as health services, afterschool programs, and family engagement activities. Their goal is to support students' academic achievement and overall well-being by fostering partnerships between the school, families, and community organizations. Community School Directors also help address barriers to learning and create a more equitable educational environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a community school director?
