Overview

The Brand & Community Relations Intern will gain a working knowledge of branding and community relations at a top live entertainment arena. This role will support the day-to-day efforts of the Brand and Community Relations team by contributing to event research, community outreach initiatives, and industry engagement with a focus on our yearly community auction. This role offers hands-on experience in live event branding and community outreach, with opportunities to learn and assist in both internal planning and external communications. 

This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00

This role is expected to last from May 18th, 2026 and will end on August 7, 2026.

This position will remain open until July 3rd, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Support Good Moods Project social media, auction, and website efforts, including brainstorming of content, design, calendaring, and strategic planning. 
  • Support Brand and Community Relations Coordinator with the suite donation and ticket request program through correspondence with local nonprofits, community partners, etc. 
  • Creation of community relations 2026 Impact Report to recap all programs, initiatives, etc. supporting the local community 
  • Coordinate volunteer opportunities for employees, premium members, and partners. 
  • Help coordinate and oversee logistics for community efforts, including canned food drive, gifting, etc.   
  • Assist with admin related duties such as inventory trackers, donation trackers, fulfilling donation requests, etc.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Learning Objectives: By the end of the internship, the Brand & Community Relations Intern will be able to: 

  • Demonstrate understanding of community relations strategies by assisting with planning and execution of outreach initiatives that support local nonprofits and partners. 
  • Apply event branding and marketing concepts to real-world promotions through supporting Good Moods social media content creation, website content, and community auction campaigns. 
  • Strengthen project management abilities by coordinating logistics for volunteer efforts, donation fulfillment, and community programs from planning through completion. 
  • Develop professional communication skills using clear, timely correspondence with nonprofit organizations, community partners, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Utilize design and content creation tools such as Canva, Capcut, and/or Adobe Creative Suite  to support branding efforts with aesthetic attention to detail and visual consistency. 
  • Grow confidence working in a live events environment that requires problem solving, flexibility, and strong teamwork. 
Qualifications
  • Interns must be currently enrolled as students at an accredited institution, which may include trade schools, community/junior colleges, or undergraduate or graduate programs. 
  • Background in live entertainment, non-profit work, or related field preferred. 
  • Strong self-awareness, time management, and organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines. 
  • Positive attitude and passion for live music and the Austin community. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentational communication with strong attention to detail and design. 
  • Strategic and critical thinker who is dynamic, forward-thinking, analytical, and extremely well organized. 
  • High level of demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain sensitiveinformation. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point). 
  • Proficient in Canva, Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite, or related programs. 
  • Must be willing to work an event-based schedule that includes nights, weekends, and some holidays.
