Job description

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Community Health Services, the Program Manager has clinical, administrative, and supervisory responsibility for the implementation and operation of the agency's Forensic Programs. The Program Manager oversees re-entry programming and provides administrative and clinical supervision to Forensic staff, ensuring the consistent and effective provision of services for individuals who are transitioning out of the criminal justice system. The Program Manager works collaboratively with agency personnel, community partners, and criminal justice stakeholders to promote client success and ensure program fidelity, compliance, and quality.

Primary responsibilities:

  1. Ensures effective performance for direct service programs including timely and accurate documentation and record keeping by monitoring and analyzing system databases and records, and implementing corrective action as necessary.
  2. Implements and supervises re-entry and forensic programs serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or dual diagnosis populations transitioning from incarceration or other involvement with the criminal justice system.
  3. Provides individual and group supervision to forensic program staff, ensuring that staff have the skills, resources, and support necessary to effectively carry out their responsibilities.

This is anย exempt, non-unionย position.ย Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am โ€“ 4:00pm

  • Masterโ€™s degree in social work or a social service discipline with a minimum ofย threeย years mental health, chemical dependency and/or social services work experience including a minimum of one year of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience;ย orย Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human services fieldย andย is currently enrolled in an accredited Master of Social Work (MSW) or related graduate program,ย with a minimum of three years of experience in mental health, chemical dependency, and/or community-based social services, including at least one year of experience in a lead, supervisory, or coordinating capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.ย ย 
  • LSW, LPC, or equivalent licensureย required. Candidates who are currently working toward licensure (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) and canย demonstrateย active progress toward that goal will be considered.
