The Part-Time Program Manager provides operational, coordination, and implementation support across multiple externally funded grants and initiatives. This role supports the Principal Investigator and project teams by managing day-to-day grant activities, coordinating student projects, tracking progress toward deliverables, and ensuring timely and effective implementation of grant-funded programs. The position plays a critical role in translating funded research and community-based projects into actionable outcomes.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

The Part-Time Program Manager works closely with faculty investigators, students, community partners, and institutional offices to support the successful execution of multiple grants. The role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage overlapping timelines across projects focused on research, education, community engagement, and technology innovation.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Coordinate implementation activities across multiple grant-funded projects

Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with the PI

Track grant activities and document progress for reporting purposes

Support day-to-day grant implementation and compliance activities

Coordinate and manage undergraduate and graduate student projects tied to grants

Facilitate regular check-ins with student teams to monitor progress and provide guidance

Support onboarding and coordination of student researchers and interns

Maintain organized project documentation and shared resources

Assist with preparation of internal updates and external reports

Coordinate meetings, workshops, and project-related events as needed

Serve as a liaison between faculty, students, and project partners

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic or research environment

Compliance Salary Range Disclosure
