Job description

Join Our Compassionate Team  

At Telecare Fern Lodge Behavioral Wellness program, we provide intensive mental health and psychiatric treatment services in a safe, welcoming environment for adults requiring continued time for stabilization and recovery support. We believe recovery starts from within and that our job is to do whatever it takes to provide the support needed on our residents' recovery journeys. Our secure facility features a staff of registered nurses, clinicians, peer specialists, and social workers on call 24 hours a day to provide comprehensive support. Our services are designed using Telecare's Recovery-Centered Clinical System (RCCS). Through the lens of trauma-informed care, this system incorporates evidence-based practices and innovative design components. RCCS focuses on choice-making skills and harm reduction techniques, striving to awaken the hopes and dreams of individuals. The RCCS emphasizes "no-force first" practices. Staff work with individuals within their cultural context to build independence and self-responsibility, fostering their recovery and facilitating a successful transition home or to a less restrictive community setting.

Full Time | DAYS 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | Monday-Friday - must be flexible with nights and weekends as Program Administrator 

The expected starting wage range is $134,060 - $165,500. The range maximum is $197,074.99.  Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges.  The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.  Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.   

POSITION SUMMARY

The Administrator is a key position in driving the organization's success.  They are responsible for both the clinical and financial success of their Program, which contributes to the overall success of both Telecare and those we serve.  the overall program operations.  The individual in this role is responsible for overseeing and leading the team of people providing patient care, as well as managing the business operations of the Program.  The individual in this role is responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Program, which involves ensuring regulatory compliance and actively overseeing quality assurance performance improvements.  Additionally, the Administrator collaborates with all corporate departments, outside consultants, and representatives of the program, as well as with state and county agencies, community partners, and consumer groups.

The ideal candidate for the Program Administrator role is someone who is a strong complement to the Telecare culture and exhibits behaviors that demonstrate alignment with Telecare’s values.  The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record of delivering operational excellence.  We define operational excellence in 4 key areas:

Clinical Quality Excellence.  First and foremost, the care we provide to those we serve is paramount.  Demonstrating consistency in care by ensuring staff are well trained, prepared for their work, able to deliver excellent care, and respond to the needs of our clients, which reduces the number of adverse events within the programs.

Workforce Engagement.  Having a highly engaged workforce translates to the quality of care that Telecare can provide its clients.  Maintaining low turnover and having staff that stay and grow with the organization are key measures of success.

Customer Satisfaction.  Our customers are essential.  The VP of Program Operations needs to be able to regularly interact with customers and ensure awareness of Telecare’s commitment to both delivering high-quality care and fiscal responsibility.

Financial Security.  Knowing how to successfully operate within a budget and drive fiscal responsibility through the organization is vitally important to the organization’s success. 

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)   

  • Master's in Social Services with a state license: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC
  • Four (4) years of experience in an administrative management position in a health care setting 
  • Two (2) years of responsibility for supervision of professional staff, budgeting, program planning, and licensing 
  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.

  • Willingness to use your vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)

    • Serves as a culture carrier, creating and supporting program culture and culture initiatives.  
    • Manages all strategic planning activities of the Program with the primary goal of ensuring ongoing effectiveness of the Program 
    • Ensures that the program is meeting or exceeding clinical quality expectations and outcomes 
    • Develops and maintains a productive work relationship with State and local agency partners; actively participates in meeting customer needs and adapting to changing customer and community needs at all times; acts as liaison between the Program and State/County customers and community partners 
    • Maintains healthy staffing patterns for all departments. This includes directing recruitment, candidate selection, partnering with internal Employee Relations, and, when necessary, taking disciplinary action within the Program. 
    • Manages the Program within allocated budgetary parameters and collaborates in the development of the fiscal budget 
    • Provides Clinical supervision upon request
