Position also known as: Direct Support Professional (DSP), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Behavior Therapist, Positive Support Specialist,Life Enrichment Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the transportation of client using OS vehicles and follow agency Transportation policies.
  • Provide supervision to clients in recreational activities, meal times and other various activities in a day program setting and out in the community.
  • Provide quality assistance with all personal cares.
  • Provide and assist clients with medication.
  • Community Integration/engagement: staff are responsible for the interaction of the work team with the work community and population at large.
  • The use of behavior modification principles: Assist in interaction through positive reinforcement, positive programming, engagement and the use of alternative communication strategies.
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Attend all required and reguested staff meetings and trainings.
