The Community Outreach Director plays a crucial role in driving occupancy by generating and managing leads, nurturing relationships, and guiding prospective residents through a smooth transition into their new home. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll collaborate with the Executive Director to create a forward-thinking and strategic marketing plan aimed at achieving budgeted occupancy targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Management and Outreach: Actively welcome walk-in and phone inquiries, utilizing software to identify and reach out to potential leads. Maintain regular contact with prospective residents and their families through calls, emails, and personalized tours of the community.
  • Relationship Building: Establish trust and strong connections with prospective residents and their families by effectively showcasing the benefits of community life and quality of care. Engage with community staff to ensure accurate promotion of services, policies, pricing, and other essential details to close sales.
  • Networking and Partnerships: Build relationships with local agencies, community organizations, and senior living referral services (e.g., A Place for Mom) to broaden referral sources. Reach out to religious, civic, and social groups connected with current residents to expand the referral network further.
  • Strategic Event Execution: Collaborate with your team to plan and host events aimed at attracting prospects to the community. Assist in organizing special events that create meaningful engagement with prospective residents, families, and referral partners.
  • Sales Process Management: Communicate sales and contract details clearly, guiding families through agreements to support occupancy levels. Actively promote tours of the community, encouraging potential residents and families to experience it firsthand.
  • Database Management and Follow-Up: Regularly review lead management databases to track, follow up on leads, and re-engage past leads who may now be ready to explore senior living options.
  • Competitor Awareness: Stay informed about competitor offerings to highlight the unique advantages and value of the community, creating a compelling narrative to spark interest and drive sales.
