What does a community outreach worker do?

A Community Outreach Worker helps connect individuals and groups within a community to resources, services, and support programs. They often organize events, provide information about available assistance, and act as a bridge between organizations and the public. Their goal is to promote wellbeing, raise awareness about important issues, and help people access the help they need. Community Outreach Workers may work for non-profits, government agencies, or healthcare providers, and they play a crucial role in building trust and fostering positive relationships within communities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a community outreach worker?
