Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Integrated Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing Global Payments' corporate philanthropy strategy, including community investment, nonprofit partnerships, disaster relief, governance, impact measurement and strategic storytelling.

Working across Corporate Communications, People, Culture & Change, Legal, Finance, Marketing and business leaders around the world, you will establish a scalable philanthropy program that strengthens communities while advancing the company's priorities, culture and reputation.

WhatYou'llOwn

Strategy & Program Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of Global Payments' global corporate philanthropy strategy.
  • Establish a focused community investment strategy aligned with company priorities and business objectives.
  • Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for philanthropy and community investment.
  • Benchmark peer companies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications leadership to continuously evolve the company's community investment strategy.

Community Investment & Partnerships

  • Build and manage a portfolio of nonprofit partnerships aligned with strategic investment priorities.
  • Evaluate partnership opportunities, grant requests and sponsorship investments.
  • Develop funding criteria and recommend charitable investments.
  • Build long-term relationships with nonprofit organizations, community leaders and strategic partners.
  • Develop disaster relief strategies and charitable response frameworks.

Governance & Operations

  • Establish governance, policies and operational processes for corporate philanthropy.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance and Finance to ensure charitable activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Define approval processes, decision rights and funding guidelines.
  • Manage philanthropy budgets and annual planning processes.
  • Build scalable operating models that enable consistent global execution.

Employee & Community Engagement

  • Develop strategies that encourage employee participation in community investment initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support enterprise community engagement efforts.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders and business partners to help scale community investment programs globally.
  • Develop frameworks that strengthen employee engagement through volunteerism and community involvement.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Define KPIs that measure community impact, employee participation and business value.
  • Develop executive dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Measure program effectiveness and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support Corporate Citizenship, ESG and Annual Report reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrate how community investment contributes to broader corporate objectives.

Communications & Storytelling

  • Partner with Corporate Communications to showcase the impact of Global Payments' community investment efforts.
  • Identify compelling stories that highlight employees, nonprofit partners and communities.
  • Support executive communications related to philanthropy initiatives.
  • Help position Global Payments as a leader in corporate citizenship through strategic storytelling and thought leadership.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), community investment, nonprofit leadership or a related field.
  • Experience designing and leading enterprise-level philanthropy or community investment programs.
  • Experience managing nonprofit partnerships and charitable investments.
  • Demonstrated experience building programs, governance structures and operational processes.
  • Strong understanding of corporate giving, nonprofit partnerships and charitable compliance.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience presenting recommendations and results to senior leadership.
  • Must be based in the Atlanta metropolitan area and able to work in a hybrid environment.
