In this role, you'll lead our community engagement strategy, build meaningful partnerships, and strengthen the connections between our organization, our members, and the communities we proudly serve.

A Day in the Life of a Community Impact Manager

As the Community Impact Manager, you'll spend your days building relationships that make a difference. From coaching and developing your team to meeting with nonprofit organizations, schools, businesses, and community leaders, you'll help strengthen Kohler Credit Union's presence throughout the communities we serve.

You'll lead community engagement initiatives, oversee sponsorships, charitable giving, and employee volunteer programs, while partnering with Marketing to maximize the impact of our community partnerships. You'll also track results, manage the Community Impact budget, and ensure our investments create meaningful value for both our communities and the credit union.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required.
  • 6+ years of experience in community development, community engagement, nonprofit partnerships, or a related field, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and networking skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and deliver results.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships and leading community engagement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of credit union operations, financial literacy programs, or community advocacy is preferred.
