Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Outreach to lead and manage a team of Community Outreach Managers within a specified geographic area. This role involves hands‑on business development, sales management, focused referral generation, and strategic brand building initiatives to grow the company’s community patient base.

Responsibilities
  • OUTREACH LEADERSHIP AND STRATEGY:
    • Collaborating with senior management to establish and execute community engagement strategy and performance objectives for the assigned territory.
    • Assisting in strategic planning/department goal setting and regional objectives.
    • Leading new market development and evaluation.
    • Providing direction and support to site‑based Community Outreach Managers (COMs) in developing appropriate market coverage and strategy.
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT:
    • Managing a highly successful Outreach (sales) team to drive census and meet or exceed department and corporate related goals.
    • Assisting in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of new hires within the region.
    • Holding frequent performance reviews with the team to provide constructive feedback.
  • MARKET ANALYSIS AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING:
    • Improving Brightview’s market position by understanding the competitive landscape, identifying new business opportunities, and building upon key stakeholder relationships.
    • Forecasting and evaluating annual, quarterly, and monthly goals, analyzing data to report on outcomes.
    • Attending key presentations and industry trade shows/events as needed.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proven sales and outreach expertise with a track record of driving patient referrals and building relationships with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities to manage multiple priorities, assess market trends, and evaluate outreach effectiveness through data analysis.
Qualifications
  • EXPERIENCE
    • 3+ years of Sales or Marketing experience, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • EDUCATION:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
