Position Overview

The Berks Community Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position will play a pivotal role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of our community members by providing vital clinical support and therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized and group counseling aligned with tailored treatment plans, ensuring that each session is reflective of the clientโ€™s specific needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide comprehensive case management services, addressing needs through referrals and linking clients to appropriate community resources.
  • Employ a diverse range of treatment methodologies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, and motivational interviewing, to enhance patient engagement and recovery.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team setting to discuss cases, coordinate care, and participate in regular meetings aimed at advancing treatment outcomes and sharing best practices.
  • Develop and implement outreach initiatives that promote wellness within the community, enhancing the visibility and accessibility of mental health services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds, cultures, and age groups. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • An active Pennsylvania License in Social Work is required.

  • Proficiency with digital tools and office management software is essential for effective documentation and client interaction.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience operating within a trauma-informed care paradigm and utilizing a social justice framework in practice.
