Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized and group therapy services to clients based on comprehensive treatment plans, employing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, and motivational interviewing.
  • Conduct triage assessments for new clients, ensuring that crisis appointments are addressed promptly and effectively, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including medical and clinical staff, through regular participation in case consultation and coordination meetings to develop integrated treatment strategies.
  • Utilize sound case management principles to monitor patient progress, facilitate resource referrals, and provide assistance tailored to client needs.
  • Design and implement outreach initiatives aimed at promoting wellness in the community, ensuring that programs are culturally sensitive and effective in engaging diverse populations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and complex social factors. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

  • Proven ability to operate within a trauma-informed care model and a solid understanding of social justice principles.

  • Experience in community mental health settings or with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency in service delivery.
  • Training in specific therapeutic interventions, such as mindfulness-based therapies or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • History of successful case management and program development within a health clinic or hospital setting.
