Job description

ESM has a Program Manager position available in the Skowhegan/Cornville area! As a Program Manager you will spend most of your time working closely with the Shift Leaders and Direct Line Personnel within ESM's PNMI (mental health) residential homes. The Program Manager will ensure ESM clients are receiving the quality of service expected throughout ESM.


The Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of each PNMI Residential home to ensure all of the clients’ needs are being met in a timely manner and all ESM staff are performing their duties at a level that provides world class services to the clients we serve.  This includes all aspects of community living, scheduling appointments, service and crisis planning, behavior management, communicating with state personnel and / or guardian, etc.


The Program Manager will be responsible to assist with training and maintaining quality Shift Leaders and Direct Line Personnel, and/or address any issues that may violate ESM procedures, protocols, or policies, as well as gather information on assigned staff for the performance review process.


Communication is essential and the Program Manager is responsible to ensure the flow of communicating is organized, smooth, and information gets passed to the appropriate individuals accordingly.


ESM is part of the health care occupation which is assisting people 24/7/365.  As an employee of ESM, it’s important to be flexible.  Being dependable and punctual is extremely important.  ESM holds its employees to very high standards to provide the care and service for our clients. 

Some weekends and holidays are mandatory as ESM operates twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.
