Job description

What you'll do

• Manage civil site development projects for residential, commercial, and industrial clients
• Prepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead and support proposal preparation and fee development efforts
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design development and project execution
• Oversee engineering work and ensure alignment with project goals and company standards
• Support and mentor junior engineers and team members
• Manage tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality objectives

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design
• Experience producing site development plans for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects
• Experience managing civil site development projects in a consulting environment
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing focus
• Strong leadership abilities and experience working within project teams
• Understanding of business metrics for project success
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
