Position Summary

The Recruitment Specialist is a high‑energy, people‑facing role at the heart of Gift of Life’s mission. You will be building relationships, inspiring new donors, and bringing our life‑saving work to college campuses and communities. Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Outreach

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead donor recruitment drives at colleges, high schools, community organizations, corporate offices, and special events.
  • Build authentic, lasting relationships with campus administrators, student leaders, educators, community partners, and event hosts.
  • Inspire engagement with Gift of Life’s mission through meetings, presentations, and public events.

MissionDriven Storytelling

  • Conduct effective trainings and deliver engaging presentations that clearly communicate Gift of Life’s mission, impact, and the power of becoming a donor.
  • Connect with diverse audiences through empathy, clarity, and inspiration - helping people understand how they can truly save a life.

Volunteer & Leader Support

  • Recruit, train, motivate, and support volunteers, student ambassadors, college interns, and partner organizations.
  • Empower your recruitment network to use their influence to push the mission forward and grow as leaders.

Operations & Impact Tracking

  • Track recruitment metrics and event outcomes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure proper documentation, timely submission of swab kits, and adherence to organizational protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to support campaigns, promotions, and donor engagement strategies.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required (equivalent experience considered).
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, outreach, community engagement, event coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills - comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow‑through and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel and a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and general technology tools.
