Van Andel Institute (VAI), a world-class biomedical research institute, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is dedicated to improving human health. We are pioneers in the fight against cancer, Parkinson's, and other diseases. We are committed to inspiring the next generation of scientists and educators.

The Grainger Lab is seeking a Graduate Student Internfor approximately 25 hours per week during Fall and Winter Semester. The Grainger Lab is interested in how Wnt signaling and metabolism impact on hematopoietic stem cell development, and cancer. Please see our recent publications. Work in the laboratory is conducted across multiple levels, including in vitro assays, mammalian cell lines, and zebrafish models.

Qualifications:

  • Master's student in cellular and molecular biology.
  • Internally motivated and curious.
  • Available to start September 8
  • Internship end date will be April 30
  • Ability to work 25 hours per week

Compensation

The hourly rate of pay for this position is set at $17 per hour.
