) Join the Leadership Team at Horsham Center for Jewish Life
Horsham Center for Jewish Life, a 324-bed long-term care community dedicated to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team.
The ADON plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Nursing and overseeing the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. This position provides clinical leadership, supports nursing staff development, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes a culture of excellence, teamwork, and compassion throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate is a strong nursing leader with long-term care experience who is passionate about improving resident outcomes and supporting a dedicated nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and nursing department oversight.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
  • Monitor compliance with resident care plans, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support staff education, training, and professional development.
  • Assist with audits, surveys, incident reviews, and development of corrective action plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes.
  • Assist with staffing coordination and support effective communication across all nursing shifts.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required.
  • Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of nursing practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
