Make Oral Healthcare More Accessible

Firefly is seeking a Community Dental Hygienist to help expand access to preventive oral healthcare services for children and families throughout Southwest Iowa.

This position serves individuals in schools, community settings, childcare centers, clinics, and outreach programs as part of Firefly's I-Smile initiative.

Responsibilities

ยท Deliver preventive dental hygiene services

ยท Conduct screenings and oral health assessments

ยท Educate families about oral health and disease prevention

ยท Connect clients with dental providers and resources

ยท Maintain documentation and program records

ยท Support outreach and community health initiatives

ยท Travel throughout the designated service area

Qualifications

ยท Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

ยท Minimum one year of clinical experience

ยท Current CPR/First Aid certification

ยท Valid driver's license
