Community-Based Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R)

Jefferson Community College (JCC)

The Social Worker is a professional Behavioral Health Provider. The Social Worker provides Behavioral Health Services to patients at Primary Care and School-Based Health Centers managed by NCFHC. The Social Worker is involved in the evaluation and treatment of patients with behavioral health issues. The Social Worker provides input and support for staff involved in the care of the patients.

Requirements

The Social Worker will have a minimum degree of New York State:

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker – registered (LCSW-R)

This position requires excellent verbal, listening, and documentation skills. Complete and accurate record keeping is essential for quality of care, treatment planning, and billing of behavioral health services.
