Embrace Curiosity in the Lab: Join a Dynamic Diagnostic Team in the Heart of Scenic Rochester
Overview
We are on the lookout for a Medical Lab Technician who seamlessly combines exploration with precision-someone who is committed to enhancing patient care through meticulous laboratory work. Here, you will be joining a team of like-minded professionals who are driven by a shared purpose, supported by a total rewards package tailored to support your career journey and overall well-being.
Description - Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following standardized protocols.

  • Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new team members or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Education Requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, plus eligibility for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certifications Required

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and tackle problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional organizational aptitude and attention to detail, specifically in documentation and quality control processes.

  • A comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Generous time-off policy starting from your very first day, along with vacation/holiday allowances for experienced hires.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
  • A robust total rewards package dedicated to your holistic well-being.

Impacting Lives through Numbers
Your critical work within the lab directly influences physicians' decisions and enhances patient outcomes. Each slide you analyze could confirm an infection or identify a metabolic imbalance before symptoms even manifest. Your dedication guarantees the accuracy that healthcare professionals and patients rely on daily.
A Culture of Teamwork and Progress
More than just a job, this role offers an opportunity to engage with a supportive community. You'll join a collaborative team that thrives on continuous improvement. Regular in-lab meetings, competency updates, and initiatives for process enhancement create an environment where all ideas are welcome.
