Responsibilities

As an Electrician III, you are responsible for the daily tasks pertaining to the success of construction projects with the help of electrical utility. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.

In addition, you will: 

  • Lead and provide guidance to ensure project completion
  • Read blueprints and do estimates
  • Manage material, labor, and electrical projects and control costs based on project budgets
  • Possess working knowledge of the electrical industry to include new site build, modifications for deployment, implementation, and some knowledge of real estate, site acquisition, and zoning
  • Be responsible for managing and controlling costs for the financial cycle of the project, including budget control and maintenance, financial tracking, reporting, bidding, proposal management, purchase orders, review and approval of vendor invoices, and project close-out
  • Prepare the scope of work to include pricing, resources, and schedule for new and proposed projects in accordance with existing contract terms and conditions
  • Be responsible for managing site acquisition, engineering, and construction projects in compliance with established processes and policies established by the company, the client, and regulatory agencies
  • Use knowledge of customers' networks and business models to assist with determining future opportunities to deploy additional products and services
  • Conduct risk management and contingency planning, negotiation of complex or sensitive issues to a favorable resolution
  • Enforce the MasTec Network Solutions quality program and ensure that appropriate safety guidelines are followed in the performance of the work by staff and vendors, and ensure that work practices meet or exceed all current company and industry standards and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Understand, train, and enforce the company quality program, processes, and standards
  • Manage the inspection and acceptance work performed by vendors and company resources, including the quality of services, equipment, materials, engineering documents, and other required project deliverables
  • Implement and achieve the company's Zero Defect Policy

Qualifications

About You: 

  • Safety is a part of your day-to-day
  • You have an understanding of all phases of telecom construction
  • You are a licensed State 01 Journeyman
  • You have project management scheduling software experience (i.e. Microsoft Project, P3e, or comparable)
  • You possess strong proficiency with MS Office
  • You have experience with estimating software
  • You are a High School graduate with 5+ years of industry trade experience
  • You possess experience with 24VDC and 48VDC, which is preferable
  • You are a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • You have the ability to establish, manage, plan, and think strategically
  • You have the ability to build and Foster Collaborative Relationships
  • You have design and construction experience
  • You have core network experience
  • You have some RF engineering experience preferred
  • You demonstrate excellent decision-making abilities
  • Must be open to a hybrid setting in Spokane, WA

Compensation of $50 per hour.
