Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery and project coordination for a small technical development team. This individual will work closely with Management, Product Owners, Developers, and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) to facilitate Scrum processes, maintain visibility into development progress, remove roadblocks, and ensure the team remains aligned with sprint priorities. The ideal candidate brings 5 years of Scrum Master experience, strong Rally expertise, and the maturity to independently lead a team without requiring significant oversight. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Lead and coordinate Agile delivery for a small technical team of approximately 3–5 members.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Developers, SDETs, and Management to maintain alignment around priorities and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point person for understanding overall development progress and priorities within each sprint.
  • Guide team members in applying Agile and Scrum principles and best practices.
  • Track sprint progress, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and action items.
  • Maintain Agile project information and team progress within Rally.
  • Remove roadblocks and help resolve issues impacting team delivery.
  • Drive accountability across the Scrum team while maintaining a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Identify resource, scheduling, functionality, and team conflicts and escalate appropriately to Management.
  • Coordinate work across technical stakeholders and ensure priorities remain clearly communicated.
  • Provide project management and coordination support in addition to traditional Scrum Master responsibilities.
  • Proactively identify potential delivery risks and determine appropriate next steps without waiting for management direction.
