Marketing & Communications Project Manager

Position Overview
The Marketing & Communications Project Manager serves as the central coordinator for marketing & communications initiatives across the organization. This role manages project intakes, timelines, priorities, workflows and launch plans to ensure the marketing & communications team is able to support internal and external needs across the organization. With projects delivered on time, on brand, on budget and with exceptional quality.
Working closely with writers, designers, digital specialists, leadership and internal stakeholders, you'll help transform ideas into completed projects while keeping everyone aligned throughout the process.

Essential Functions and Skills
Responsibilities 

  • Manage Marketing & Communications projects from intake through completion. 
  • Build and maintain project timelines, schedules and priorities. 
  • Coordinate work across content, design, digital, social media, print and communications. 
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and communicate expectations with stakeholders. 
  • Monitor deadlines and proactively identify risks or bottlenecks. 
  • Keep stakeholders informed through regular project updates. 
  • Ensure projects move efficiently through review and approval processes. 
  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining quality and deadlines. 
  • Manage Marketing & Communications requests submitted through the department's intake process. 
  • Assist with campaign planning and execution across multiple channels. 
  • Coordinate production of marketing collateral, digital assets and internal communications. 
  • Maintain project documentation, calendars and workflow systems. 
  • Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and collaboration. 
  • Track and maintain budgets.
  • Coordinate annual Marketing & Communications planning.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
     

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, desired.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a marketing, communications, creative or other complex environment. 
  • Ability to pass DHS background study.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. 
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion and executive presence when working directly with senior leaders and high-visibility stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders. 
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, Wrike, Smartsheet or similar. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently. 
  • Healthcare or hospice experience preferred but not required. 
  • Familiarity with creative production workflows. 
  • Experience managing agency and/or vendor relationships. 
  • Project management learning or certification is a plus.

The starting salary range for this role is $90,000-$100,000 annual base salary.  An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
