Overview

Responsible for supporting efforts to inform, influence and inspire internal clients, this role takes a strategic communication approach that advances the company brand, strengthens employee engagement and ultimately influences team goals. This position works closely with internal departments and stakeholders throughout the company to write and disseminate content across multiple channels, including email, employee communication app, digital publishing networks and internal events.

Responsibilities

•    Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan to support implementation across all phases of a project
•    Translate complex technical information into clear, practical content for nontechnical audiences
•    Create and manage project-specific communications, including updates, training materials, FAQs and executive messaging


•    Partner with change management leads to align communications with adoption strategies and readiness efforts
•    Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to gather input, surface risks and ensure message alignment
•    Plan and deliver communications across multiple channels, including email, internal platforms, digital content and events


•    Ensure consistency in messaging, tone and brand voice across all communications
•    Proofread and edit all materials to ensure accuracy, clarity and quality
•    Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English or related field required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant professional experience in communications or marketing
  • Familiarity with corporate communications in a business setting, preferably in a construction-related industry

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
