This position will assist the Director of Sports Information.
Examples of Duties
- Assist with planning and executing home athletic events
- Coordinate game day logistics; including event setup, breakdown, and venue preparation
- Write game previews
- Recaps, feature stories, and press releases
- Updating athletics website with schedules, roster, statistics, and other special projects as assigned
- Graduate Assistants are members of the New College Athletics staff and may be assigned additional departmental responsibilities beyond their sport-specific duties.
- These responsibilities may include game day operations coverage, departmental events, championships, enrollment initiatives, and other special projects as assigned by the Athletics Department
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license is required
