The Royal Caribbean Group's Celebrity Marketing Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Onboard Branding & Communications Account Executive to the Marketing and Communications Director.
The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.
The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.
Position Summary:
The Onboard Branding & Communications Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for implementing and executing the global onboard communication strategy as established by the Director of Integrated Marketing & Communications. This Account Executive will function as the Onboard Marketing point of contact for multiple internal departments, including Marketing, Hotel Operations, Onboard Revenue, Product Innovation, and Product Development, and will additionally be responsible for implementing and supporting strategic and tactical branding initiatives and programs designed to exceed satisfaction targets within the onboard marketing channel.
The AE, Onboard Branding & Communications, will provide marketing support and oversight for the fleet-wide shipboard Digital Content Manager and Assistant Digital Content Manager teams by outlining direction for implementing consistent and on-brand printed guest communications, digital signage, and stateroom TV content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support and provide oversight to ensure all guest-facing communications align with our brand's identity and messaging and are consistently executed across the fleet.
  • Responsible for distribution of information relating to Onboard Marketing & Communications efforts to the fleet.
  • Maintains a rigorous calendar and project list of all deliverables and milestones. Responsible for tracking progress with the Project Management team to ensure that deadlines and approval milestones are met.
  • Works with internal creative teams to brief the approach and oversee the development of assets to support assigned onboard marketing or communications product.
  • Partners with various marketing channels to ensure all communications follow brand standards from creation to ongoing support of a product or service onboard.
  • Responsible for inputting the creative requests into Workfront, our project management system.
  • Manages content and maintenance within our Onboard Marketing SharePoint site and communicates changes with shipboard teams.
  • Maintain constant communication with shipboard teams, serving as a liaison between shipboard and shoreside departments for all guest communication needs.
  • Develops content for kickoff meetings, market planning calls and other methods to inform and align partner teams on upcoming marketing plans.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years business, marketing or agency experience
  • 2 years of experience in creative concept development & execution, strategy and branding
  • Experience in supporting business partnerships, vendors, internal and/or cross-functional teams
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, especially under time and budget constraints
  • Ability to present plans and ideas to all levels of employees and management
  • Detailed and excellent knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages including Excel, Word, or related programs
  • Occasional travel required Comprehensive understanding and experience in effective internal and external communication strategies.
  • Ability to apply operational, conceptual and strategic thinking to objectives, proposals and performance.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Celebrity Cruises products, services, brand essence and marketing objectives relative to competitors and potential partners.
  • Ability to actively participate in cross-functional teams to define and implement product development and partnership strategies.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with all departments and levels of management throughout the organization, as well as, with external customers, partners and companies.
  • Remain current on industry trends, business opportunities and competitive intelligence. Ability to work against deadlines and financial limitations.
