All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Communication Studies instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview

Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication or organizational communication; OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND a Master's in drama/theater arts, mass communication or English; OR A valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as an Communications Studies Instructor in a California Community College; OR The equivalent; AND Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
