About this Role
Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an Internal Communications Strategist to serve as the primary owner of the company's internal communication strategy, working with leaders to ensure employees feel informed and connected to the business, regardless of location. While providing customer support for internal business units, this role is responsible for mining, writing, and packaging compelling content for distribution across company channels. The role supports the brand from the inside out by working with the team to optimize content for external channels.
What You'll Do
Editorial Ownership
  • Own and execute the internal editorial calendar, serving as the primary owner for sourcing, developing, and packaging stories and content across the enterprise.
  • Tailor messages per audience, adjusting strategy as needed for leaders and various geographies.
  • Cover core internal beat that includes business growth and change management, employee features, project timelines and milestones, safety updates, cultural opportunities and more.
  • Uphold editorial standards, voice, and tone.

Channel Execution
  • Produce and manage content across established internal channels, including The Queue, the internal website (in partnership with the Multimedia Specialist), and employee meetings (in partnership with the Communications & Events Specialist).
  • With support from the team, develop and pilot new methods of delivery within a sustainable publishing cadence to meet company needs.
  • Measure usability and effectiveness of tools and adjust as needed.

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner with the External Communications & Digital Strategist to align messaging strategies and optimize content.
  • Serve as a communications partner for business units, including training, HR, and safety, translating their needs into clear, engaging content.

What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate storytelling, or editorial/journalism roles (portfolio of examples required).
  • Proven experience bringing company or client values to life through messaging to support a goal (examples required)
