THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it.

You will become a critical member of the Canadian marketing team responsible for growing FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino in Ontario and Alberta, through public relations. Through this role, you will support the communications team by crafting internal and external communications. This role will work closely with the broader marketing team (media, brand, content and growth) in addition to key cross-functional stakeholders in business operations, commercial, product, and analytics.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Support the communications team with crafting messaging, public relations strategies and strategic communications
  • Assist with the preparation of internal communications materials including but not limited to, company town halls, executive communications, and company internal messaging.
  • Research trends in our industry as well as monitoring competitor and industry media activity
  • Support the organization and planning of office events, delivering engaging experiences that strengthen company culture
  • Prepare marketing materials for presentations for internal and external meetings
  • Assist with organizing marketing team meetings and operations
  • Lend your skills to various teams withing the marketing department (media, content and brand) as required

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate:

  • Actively pursuing a degree in marketing, business, sports, communications or political science fields with a strong GPA
  • Very strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and other analytical tools
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to change writing styles to fit the audience

The applicable hourly range for this position is $25 - $30 CAD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: extended medical, vision, and dental coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; a retirement program with employer contributions; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes 12 holidays and two (2) floating holidays.  FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with applicable Canadian law.
