ST. THOMAS COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER
PATIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE/ OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide personalized and service oriented assistance for patients/customers under the supervision of Clinic Manager and Team Leader. The Patient Service Associate implements all aspects of the clerical side of health care delivery to patients/customers. Maintain a positive work relationship with all staff members for the good of the patient/customer and institution. The employee should demonstrate the ability to provide care and service with individuals of all age groups. Demonstrates actions consistent with St. Thomas Community Health Center's Service Principles as duties are performed on a daily basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience & Training:
High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years Administrative Experience Preferred.
College Graduate Preferred.
Other Qualifications:
Maintain confidentiality in matters related to co-workers and patients. Adhere to Professionalism with dress code/manners CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
Mandatory: Personable (for meeting/greeting patients/customers)
Computer literacy (Mainframe or PC)
Phone etiquette - handle heavy volume multi-line
Spelling/grammar aptitude
Good written/verbal communication skills
