Position Summary
The Communications Coordinator supports Christwood's Marketing Department bycreating and managing digital and print communications. Responsibilitiesinclude social media management, website updates, graphic design, photography,newsletters, public relations, media coordination, and administrative support.This position helps ensure consistent messaging and brand representation whilesupporting the department's marketing and communication initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage Christwood's social media platforms.
  • Maintain and update website content using WordPress.
  • Design marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, advertisements, signage, presentations, and digital graphics.
  • Capture photographs for marketing materials, social media, and organizational communications.
  • Produce newsletters, email communications, and press releases.
  • Coordinate advertising schedules, media relationships, and publication deadlines.
  • Maintain Christwood's brand standards across all communication channels.
  • Organize digital marketing assets and communication calendars.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Marketing Department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
  • One to three years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience with WordPress, Canva, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience capturing and editing photography for marketing or social media preferred.
  • Strong writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with residents, team members, vendors, media representatives, and community partners.
