Wespath's Marketing and Communications team has an opportunity for a Communications Content Manager. This role develops and implements communication strategies and tacticalwork plans for their internal business partners (clients). In this work, theContent Manager establishes and manages project schedules and the internalreview process through final approvals, and partners with design and productionstaff to deliver communication projects from concept through execution. The Content Manager also serves as aliaison among internal stakeholders, facilitating content alignment,socialization and ongoing updates.
More specifically, as a Communications Content Manager, you willhave the following key responsibilities:

  • Communication Strategy: Plan, develop, coordinate and maintain comprehensive communication strategies, work plans and timelines for assigned client departments. Partner with internal stakeholders early in the project lifecycle to understand business objectives, key milestones, effective dates, implementation timelines, and communication needs. Translate project requirements into integrated communication plans that align messaging, audiences, channels, and deliverables to support successful campaign launches and organizational initiatives. Coordinate cross-channel execution across email, web, digital, print, presentations, and other communication vehicles to ensure timely, consistent, and audience-focused delivery. Socialize benefit plan communication campaigns, updated collateral, and project plans with internal stakeholders to support frontline communication efforts. Partner with Change Management and the Internal Communications Content Manager to coordinate communications for retirement plan updates and other organizational initiatives, ensuring employees receive accurate, timely, and consistent information. Work closely with the Multimedia team on the design and overall execution of materials including videos.
  • Project Management: Manage and support projects as delegated and directed by the Manager and/or Managing Director. Leverage the department's project/production management platform (Monday.com) to manage all communication aspects of projects. Collaborate with internal teams, including Agile (Information Technology) product teams, to support communication efforts related to product enhancements, releases, and organizational updates. Manage external benefit vendor communications plans and execution.
  • Meeting and Event Content: Provide tactical support as assigned for external organization events (educational forums, trainings, webinars, etc.), whether in person, virtual or hybrid. Develop, write, edit and review audience-focused content that supports assigned clients and organizational initiatives. Including creating content for email campaigns, landing pages, presentations, digital and print collateral, event materials and other communication assets. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, engaging and tailored to the needs of each audience while supporting successful execution of events and related communications.
  • Web and Social Content Support: Partner with the Website Manager and Social Media Manager to leverage these vehicles as audience engagement tools. Write, edit, review and provide content for topic-specific pages, landing pages and other website content in alignment with organizational strategy, brand standards and SEO (search engine optimization) best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate, user-focused and optimized using data-driven insights to continuously improve engagement and performance.
  • General Marketing and Communication Department Support: Provide peer review (editing and proofreading) for Marketing and Communication department project materials. Serve as benefits communications resource for departments across the organization by managing benefit-related document updates and communication requests, including revising existing materials, developing new content, incorporating stakeholder feedback and coordinating reviews with subject matter experts, Legal and Compliance teams as needed.

  • The compensation range for this position is 93,000 - 116,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant's qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.
