Job Description

The primary function of the Communications intern will be to assist with various tasks helping to ensure smooth Communications operations.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Support with social media content creation and editorial calendar
  • Prepare and edit stories for internal and external platforms, newsletters, etc.
  • Assist in preparing information and materials;
  • Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
  • Maintain communications boards and information posted around the plant
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records
  • Update company calendars
  • Support employee engagement activities
  • Support with department requests for edits, creating surveys, etc.
Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Currently enrolled in accredited local University Program
  • Pursuing a degree in Communications or related studies
  • 2.8 GPA or higher
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this position
  • Must have housing in the local area and reliable transportation
