Shift: 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM

Experience:

โ€ข 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

โ€ข 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

โ€ข Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

โ€ข Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

โ€ข This role may require floating to additional units and locations

โ€ข Local & travel allowed.

โ€ข COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Prior floating experience required (float pool shifts, other facilities, and/or floating to other floors/units).

Preferred Skills/Experience: High acuity experience preferred.

Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job youโ€™re applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: Assignments are 1-2 depending on acuity; may be 1-3 for lower-acuity assignments or patients with transfer orders. Medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac patient populations. RNs titrate drips including Epi, Norepi, Dobutamine, Propofol, Esmolol, Hydromorphone, Midazolam, and CIS. Vent, high flow, BiPAP, and CPAP. Phillips monitors; at least 1 monitor tech; RNs read strips. Charge/resource nurses do not take assignments. Nurse aides available, usually 1-2 depending on daily census.

Shift & Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts per schedule. Holidays required. No call.

Floating Requirements: Floats within the high acuity float pool to Critical Care Unit, Observation, Med Surg, General Surgery, Ortho Surgery, Short Stay Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Telemetry, and Progressive Care.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driverโ€™s license required for submission
