Deloitte's Enterprise Operations & Risk practice is seeking an SAP Commodity Solutions Senior Consultant to support commodity-intensive clients through business and technology transformation. This role focuses on helping organizations improve trading, logistics, settlement, and risk operations through SAP-enabled process design and implementation. The ideal candidate brings experience across the commodity trade lifecycle and understands how SAP Commodity Solutions can improve operational efficiency, control, and commercial performance across downstream and adjacent commodity markets.

Work you'll do

As an SAP Commodity Solutions Sr. Consultant on the Enterprise Operations & Risk team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading process and data analysis across the commodity trade lifecycle, including trade capture, Supply Chain processes, Pricing, and settlements, with a focus on S4 Commodity Solutions process, S4 data, and control improvement opportunities
  • Support the design and implementation of SAP-enabled solutions for commodity trading companies across Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Agriculture, and adjacent commodity sectors
  • Analyze commercial and operational processes to identify opportunities for value chain optimization, margin improvement, and stronger integration across trading, logistics, finance, and settlement activities
  • Translate Business related functional and technical requirements into S4 Design and Build
  • Lead workstreams with client stakeholders and Deloitte teams to align business requirements, future-state process designs, testing, and implementation activities with program objectives and delivery timelines
  • Develop client-ready deliverables, executive presentations, and pursuit materials that communicate business value, implementation priorities, and transformation outcomes

  • Experience across the commodities trade lifecycle, including deal capture, scheduling or nomination, pricing, settlements, and market or credit risk exposures
  • Experience supporting SAP-enabled business processes across trading, logistics, inventory, finance, and settlement operations for downstream oil & gas or adjacent commodity sectors
  • Experience defining business requirements, future-state process designs, testing activities, and client-ready analyses for commodity trading, risk, or value chain optimization transformations
  • Ability to travel 75%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Commodity Management, Agricultural Contract Management, or commodity pricing capabilities
  • Experience integrating SAP with commodity trading and risk management, logistics, market data, or settlement solutions
  • Experience with SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Finance, or Transportation Management in support of commodity trading operations
