Job description

Thomas Printworks is looking for a results-driven sales professional to lead new business development across a regional territory from our Phoenix office. This opportunity is ideal for a proven hunter who excels at prospecting, building a strong pipeline, and winning consultative sales opportunities for integrated print and marketing fulfillment solutions. You will partner with a strong operations and sales support team to develop long-term client relationships and generate sustainable revenue growth.

What This Role Offers

  • Ownership of a defined regional territory with strong support from our operations and sales teams.
  • The opportunity to sell strategic, solution-focused programs rather than one-off commodity print jobs.
  • Access to CRM, estimating, pricing, customer service, project management, and marketing resources.
  • A clear path to develop a meaningful book of business within a growing national organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect for and develop new client relationships within an assigned regional territory.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline with clear, value-driven opportunities.
  • Lead consultative sales discussions focused on understanding and solving customer challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for integrated print, branded environment, and marketing fulfillment solutions.
  • Collaborate with estimating, customer service, production, and fulfillment teams to deliver on customer commitments.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, sales reporting, and forecasting within CRM systems.
  • Consistently develop a pipeline capable of generating more than $1M annually within 24 months.
  • Develop and execute territory plans.
  • Forecast sales activity and results to meet established growth targets.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in print, packaging, marketing services, or another business-to-business consultative sales environment.
  • A proven track record of proactive prospecting, pipeline development, and new business acquisition.
  • Strong communication, discovery, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Print industry experience is a plus, but we place a strong emphasis on selling ability, discipline, and mindset.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

  • Sales professionals who enjoy outbound prospecting and creating new business opportunities.
  • Consultative sellers who focus on customer outcomes rather than competing on price alone.
  • Professionals who value the autonomy to build territory momentum while having the support needed to scale their success.
  • Individuals motivated by long-term relationship building, accountability, and continuous growth.

Tools and Support

  • CRM and prospecting tools.
  • Estimating and pricing support.
  • Dedicated customer service and project management support after the sale.
  • Marketing support and target-account resources.

Why Thomas Printworks

  • National footprint with strong local execution.
  • The opportunity to sell beyond commodity print into broader client solutions.
  • Robust fulfillment and operational support that allows you to stay focused on selling.
  • Career growth opportunities as the organization continues to expand.
  • A sales environment designed for professionals who want to build something meaningful.
